Senior Legal Specialist

We are looking to hire: Senior Legal Advisor

Main Job of a Senior Legal Specialist:

• Handle reorganization files (company mergers, intra-group reorganization, sale or acquisition of holdings, etc.) and draft the resulting contracts in both French and English
• Supervise and contribute to the preparation and organization of meetings of the boards and assemblies; attend these meetings as required and draft the minutes
• Leading and participating in the legal follow-up of non-group subsidiaries, including foreign ones, in collaboration with local lawyers or contacts
• Informs and advises the managers and all the other departments concerned on changes in the law, standards, and case law. To do so, he/she ensures a permanent legal and regulatory watch, drafts summary notes
• Manage the Group’s pre-litigation and litigation, either directly or in conjunction with law firms,
• Support and assist all departments with legal issues
• Manage the company’s intellectual property portfolio. (Filing, registration, and renewal)

Education & Experience:

• You have a degree in Business Law
• You have a thorough knowledge of corporate law
• Knowledge of tax law would be a plus
• You have a 5-year experience in a legal position within a legal department and/or law firm, ideally in an international environment
• You are fluent in professional English and can write and speak in meetings in a proactive manner
